Hehe I just love how Akina was all “YES IT WORK”…. “Oh yes the other thing”. The switch to the face are great but my fav detail is the pose of the finger changing as well.
Then I got to the middle panel and not even going to try to think on how Akina not paste on the page at this point. All I care about is how SICK this panel is. Great work on the detail of the sword swing and the ink wave behind Akina to show the power of the swing is just as good looking. Then that final panel and all Monkey Neurons are a go!(show money brain meme here)
Last thing look like I was wrong last page and Akina still does have the marking.
She had to block the blade, otherwise it would have severed the Unicorn from the chapter.
First, I think you mean: “Why didn’t she jump over it?” Second to our friendly narrator, I can see why she did it. There is a strong possibility if she had jumped over the bade strike, she would most likely leave herself wide open to a second strike, which would have ended poorly for the girl. Blocking something of that size has its own risk, but it was the better option, especially with her powers. Third…GOOO, AKINA, KICK THAT GIANT BUTT!!!
