Hehe do love that Jack ask that question as I was thinking the same last page. Got to agree with Paige that a lantern will be better then a compass in this woods, though I like how Jack guess the spell. He may have no magic him self but he been around enough that he has some ideas about.
Last thing I really like how you use the spell smoke/magic to move to the next scene.
